The Herald’s Melbourne correspondent reports that Mr. Deakin yielded, to, the pressure of his colleagues, retaining office when the House meets on Wednesday. A postponement of the motion for ,a Royal Commission on tlie Post Office will be asked until the tariff is passed. If that is not postponed Mr. Deakin will resign.
