Tuesday, sea and -wind aiul rain too heavy for landing. Wednesday, launch came for cargo, but owing to heavy sea did not leave till Saturday. Worked Puatai, with heavy sea, same afternoon. Landed about 30 tons at Pakaxao yesterday. Came on to TuriJiaua and landed 12 tons this morning, leaving there at noon to-day (Monday), arriving at- wharf at 3 p.m. About 60 tons general cargo for Gisborne. Landed on coast about 200 tons and 20,000 ft timber. The West-port Coal Co.’s s.s. Regains arrived from' West-port yesterday morning with 500 tons of coal, but owing to the silting of the channel was unable to come alongside. A quantity of her cargo was lightered yesterday to lessen her draught, .and ntt attempt -will bo made to bring her in on the early tide this morning.
