The*-Board dealt with 14,cases of retirement, and passed allowances in connection therewith, totalling £B7S per year. Refunds of contrihut ions, amounting to £4OB, wero made with respect to 54 persons, who had been contributing to the fund. An allowance of £lB per year was made t () an engine driver’s widow, and £.13 -a year" to tho posthumous child of a station master. It is- understood that the income of tho fund last year was approximately £51.000, and that the payments >"-ulo from the fund amounted to £35,000.
