FIRE AT AUCKLAND.

NEAVBPAPER OFFICE IN FLAMES. (Press Association.) AUCKLAND, April 13. A fire occurred in the Star office early on Sunday morning. It originated in the stereo room. The fire brigade so promptly attacked the flames that they were confined to one floor at the back of tho premises. The daamge is between £SOO and £IOOO, covered by insurance in all offices bub the STato fire office. Tho employees, engineers, and carpenters worked energetically to got the plant in working order, so that repairs could he effected sufficiently- to enable work to be resujned as usual toAVhien the fire brigade was proceeding to the fire the hose reel, with two men, capsized when, turning a corner at Fort street, -and the men sustained injuries which are not serious.
