COOK COUNTY COUNCIL. NOTICE is hereby given that this Council has received an application for permission to lay a tramway upon a County road. The name of the applicant as W. A. Limbrick. The road proposed to be “crossed” is tho Waihuka Road and Neill’s road, from sec. 5, Bl'k XI., Motu Survey District, to the Waikoliu railway station. A plan of the proposed tramway, and the conditions upon which the Council proposes to grant tho rights to construct the tramway upon the roads, may be inspected at the office of the Council, Gisborne, between the hours of . 10 o’clock a.m. and 1 o’clock p.m. daily, until the 30th April, 1908. The Council will meet to consider this application, and any objection thereto, on FRIDAY, Ist May, at 2 o’clock p.m. Any person having any objection to the proposed tramway must state the same in writing, addressed to the Council, on or before the 30th April, 1908. Section 105 of “The Education Act, 1904, notice is hereby given that the Boaid of the Education District of Hawke’s Bay has appointed 7.30 o’clock in the evening as the time for the Annual Meeting of Householders, which will bo held 'Oil MONDA\, the 27th day of April. 1908. The place of meeting will be the schoolhouso in each district, except for Tort- Ahuriri, where the place of meeting will be the Main Schoolhouso, Port Ahuriri. The householders within the several school districts are hereby called upon to send in writing, by post or delivery so as to bo delivered to the respective chairmen of the several School Committees not later than eight o’clock on the evening of MONDAY, April 20, 1908, the names of persons being resident householders nominated by them lor election to serve upon the committee for the next year ensuing.
