Mr W. Gillanders, National Secretary to the Y.M.C.A. left for Ai'asterton yesterday. Mr. D. -B. Carrick, manager Flat Point Station, Masterton, has been appointed resident manager in New Zealand- for Messrs. Quibell Bros., Ltd., manufacturers of sheep dip, Newark, England, Mr. Bourke, of Napier, arrived in Gisborne on (Saturday, and is staying at tho Masonic Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Williams arrived from Wellington on Saturday, and went on to AVaipiro Bay in tho afternoon. Constable Anderson left for Napier last night in charge of -three prisoners. Col. Hume, Inspector of Prisons, returned to AVellingtoni by the Mouowai last night. Air. AI. F. Bourke was a passenger South by file Monowai last night. Air. Gohns, the local Inspector of Factories, went South last night. Mr. Warn-. Aladdern, formerly a -detective stationed here, is at present in -Gisborne, having arrived- by the Mokoia from South on Saturday morning. Dr. do Lisle, District Health Officer, left for South last evening by the Alonowai.
