HOLIDAY NOTICE.
GOOD FRIDAY AND EASTER MONDAY, 17th and 20tli APRIL, 1908. Good Friday and Easter Monday the 17th and 20th April, will be observed by the Post and Telegraph Offices as holidays. The ..following hours will be observed at the Chief Post Office, Gisborne:— Post Office.—A close holiday will be observed on Good Friday. On Easter Monday, tlio 20tli April, tho Post Office will bo open in all branches, except the Money Order and Savings Bank, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. On the evenings of Thursday, 16th, and Saturday, 18th April, all receivers and posting boxes, will be cleared. Mails usually despatched on Friday will be closed at 7.30 p.m. on Thursday night. Oil Monday, the 20th April, the usual despatch of mails up to 8 a.m. will be made. A delivery of town letters will bo made from the Post Office private box wicket on Thursday and Saturday evenings, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Telegraph Office—Good Friday, 9.30 to 10 a.m., and sto 5.30 p.m. Easter Monday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. to midnight. Telephone Exchange.—Good Friday, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Easter Monday, as usual, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. W. H. RENNER, Chief Postmaster, Gisborne.
