IMPERIAL POLITICS.

THE “TIMES” CRITICISES MR. ASQUITH. United Press Association —Copyright LONDON, April 9. King Edward is returning from Biarritz on the 16th, earlier than expected. The “Times” declares that the ceremony of Mr. Asquith’s 'kissing tho King’s hand at Bairratz is a wide departure from hitherto unbroken precedent. Perhaps it is a picturesque and graceful tribute to the reality of the entente that King Edward and Mr. Asquith are so much at home in France, but everyone with a sound knowledge of our political system must hope that the precedent will not be repeated except in case of necessity. . - -
