ANNOUNCEMENT OF CANDIDATES. Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, April 8. Mr. D. Macfarlanc has definitely decided to contest the Hurunui seat at the next election. Mr. F. S. Yates has been announced as a candidate lor Christchurch .East. WELLINGTON CENTRAL SEAT. (Special to Times.) WELLINGTON, April 8. Mr. P. J. O’Regan, the prominent single-taxer and free-trader and Home Hule advocate, has been selected as the Government candidate for Wellington Central at the next election. To-dav' Mr. O’Regan told a “Post reporter it was almost certain he would again contest the Central seat at the goneral election. He explained that, if lie did stand he would be the Government candidate. “Is that definite?” asked the roporteiv “Oh, yes,” replied Mr. O’Regan, “thero s no doubt about that.”
