In tlio championship games last night an interesting contest resulted between L. MeGoiiigal and E. Austen. The former led in the first stages, but Austen, playing well and aided a good deal bv luck, gradually overhauled him, and oventually won by 54. The game lasted for 62 minutes. To-night Te Kani I’ero and J. Nugent will meet at 7.30. ROBERTS DEFEATS WEISS. United Press Association —Copvright LONDON, April 5.
