SHIP ON FIRE.
A CARETAKER’S NARROW ESCAPE. United Press Association —Copyright (Received April 5, 4.4 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 5. The barque Dunlop, which arrived from Lyttelton six weeks ago, took tiro at two this morning. The vessel was being dismantled, and only , a caretaker was aboard. A riding lamp fell from the forestay, and set fire to a quantity of loose timber. The fire did a good deal of damage before it was extinguished, and the caretaker narrowly escaped death, being rescued from liis bunk in the hick of time by sailors from an adjoining ship. 4
