IT is hereby notified that an Election oi ONE (I) Member to represent the above Riding, will be held on WEDNESDAY, April 22nd, 1908; and I appoint WEDNESDAY, April 15th, 1908, up to the hour of 12 o’clock noon, as the time, and the Cook County Council, as the place, for receiving nominations of Candidates. COOK COUNTY COUNCIL, NOTICE is hereby given that this Council has received an application for permission to lay a tramway upon a County road. The name of the applicant is W. A. Limbrick. The road proposed to be “crossed” is the Waihuka Road and Neill’s road, from sec. 5, Bl'k XI., Motu Survey District, to'the Waikohu railway station. A plan of the proposed tramway, and the conditions upon which the Council proposes to grant the rights to construct the tramway upon the roads, may be inspected at the office of the Council, Gisborne, between the hours of 10 o’clock a.m. and 1 o’clock p.m. daily, until the 30th April, 1908. The Council will meet to consider this application, and any objection thereto, on FRIDAY, Ist May, at 2 o’clock p.m. Any person having any objection to the proposed tramway must state the same in writing, addressed to the Council, on or before the 30th April, 1908, J.
