BILLIARDS.
At the Victoria Billiard Saloon last night B. Lucas and L. AlcGonignl were the contestants in a game in the series for tlio championship of Gisborne. At the end of the first twenty minutes the scores were: AlcGonigul 75, Lucas 62. From this out Lucas only scored 27, and AlcGonignl had a popular win. The game occupied 47 minutes. To-night R. Kay and J. Nugent meet, when a good game should result.
