CANTERBURY GROWERS UNEASY GOVERNMENT CONSIDERIN'G THE MATTER. Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, March 30. At a meeting of the Canterbury Fruitgrowers’ Association on Saturday night, the question of scale and leech blight in hedges belonging to the Railway Department was again discussed, but Mr. Blackmore (Government Pomologist), who was present, assured the members of the Association that tho matter was being considered by the Government.
