KAISER WITHDRAWS OBJECTION
PRESIDENT RECEIVES PRIVATE LETTER FROM KAISER.

Tho Kaiser has approved of President Roosevelt’s nomination of Dr., Hill as Ambassador at The Hague to succeed Mr* Tower. The K nisei iecently sent through the American Embassy a personal letter to Mr. Roosevelt,' 1 giving him private reasons why Dr. Hill was. unacceptable. Great excitement was caused in Washington because of Dr. Hill’s popularity. The American Foreign Office at Berlin professes ignorance of the matter.
