"While Mr George Goulding’s financial reform resolution in connection with unemployment was being put, nows of tho Peekham result was received, and raised roar alter roar ot cheers from the Unionist benches. Tho Unionists stood, excitedly w-avnig their hats and handkerchiefs,, and shouting, “ltcsign ! you will be unemployed directly.” The debate was ultimately adjourn. Ct "\t the last- election Mr C. G. Clark (Liberal) Sir F. CL Banbury (Conservative) by 5903 to 3546.
