The U.S.S. Co.’s Haupiri has been delayed in Napier owing to. heavy rain and will not arrive here until ill is morning. To-morrow sue will leave for Auckland via Coast ports. The U.S.S. Co.’s I'Squnll, bound from Auckland to Gisborne, was sheltering in Tol.iga Bay yesterday waiting for the weather to moderate. The Shaw, SaviU and Albion Co. s Tokcmaru arrived in Napier on Thursday afternoon, but it- was then too wet' to commence working, and she is not expected in Gisborne before -Monday next. Owing t 0 the heavy weather in the South the H.-'P. liner AYimmera will not reach Gisbonio iiut.il this urtoi~ noon. She arrived at Napier at b p.m. fast evening, but it was not known at what hour this nioining sho would be able to resume her journey northward.
