At tho Victoria Saloon last night L. McGonigal and J. B. Rex met in tho competition for the eliamnionsn-ip of Gisborne. McGonigal assumed the lead imm the start, and with all the luck ran out when his opponent was |>vj. Mo made good breaks oi '35 and 25. The game occupied 59 minutes. 'To-night E. Austin meets W. Forrest at 7.30 o’clock.
