THE CANDIDATES. Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 20. A deputation waited upon Mr. Aitken, a former Mayor of Wellington, asking him to contest the mayoralty. Air. Aitkcn said he was inclined to accede to the request,, but would give a definite answer to-morrow. Air. Bislop, the present- Mayor, will stand again.
