It was rumored at tho time that the victory of a. certain horse in an event was unexpected and unpalatable to liis connections, and that the lidci was roundly abused alter returning to tho scales, for winning. Since then it is understood that the rider in question has placed the A.R.G. authorities in nossession of his version pf the case, and a lull investigation will take place.
