A goodly number of spectators wore present at the Victoria Billiard oaloon last night, and a further game in the- championship competition was placed, when W. Niclcola and J. Nugent- were the players. The gamo, which was a slow ono throughout, wds fairly oven for tho first liiindreu and no largo breaks wore made, but in tho second hundred Nic'kola showed improved form, and playing consist,entlv reached 250 when his opponent was' 233, thus winning by 17 points. Tlio game lasted for an hour and 33 minutes. To-night a good game should result between B. Lucas and C. Weston as these arc two of the foremost players in tho competition and aro both playing in excellent form.
