NAPIER PARK MEETING. Press Association. NAPIER, March 17. The' Napier Par'll Racing Club’s carnival meeting was commenced today in splendid weather. The attendance was a record, and tire racing was good. The" sum of £7626 was invested on the totalisator, an increase of £207 over the first day last year, in addition to which 16 bookmakers were licensed. Tho following are the results:— Omaranui Hack Handicap Hurdles Race, of 80 sovs; 13 miles.—Tekainui 9.9 1, Reservoir 11.0 2, Commander 9.8 3. Bushranger also ran. Won by half a length, a neck between second and third. Time, 3min 19 4-5 see. - „„ Esk Hack Handicap, of 80 sovs, 5 furlongs.—North Head 8.7 1, Ikon 7.13 2, Wonderbohm 6.12 3.
