Before daybreak on Sunday a dozen residents of Port Au Prince were dragged from tlioir homes and summarily shot by order of General Leconte', the Minister of the Interior, on a charge of conspiring in favor of General Firmin. Manv revolutionists sought refuge in the French and German Legations, and the Government demands their surrender, alleging t-liat the conspiracy was hatched in the Consulates. The French cruiser Destress has been ordered to Govaires, as well as the German cruiser Bremen. The British cruisers Creasy and Indefatigable have been ordered to Hayti from Jamaica. [The Republic of Hayti is the western or French portion of the island of San Domingo, which, next to Cuba, is the largest” of the West Indies Islands. Port An Prince, mentioned in the cable, is the capital of Hayti.]
