TRAMWAY ACCIDENT AT WELLINGTON.

SEVERAL PERSONS INJURED. (Special to Times). WELLINGTON, March 14. Tlio Wellington tramway service has since its institution been remarkably free from accidents ,but Lite this afternoon several people were cut and bruised, through a collision on the Botanical Gardens line. One car crashed into one in front of it, and the shock was sufficient to shatter the glass and otherwise injure both cars, while the passengers were thrown forcibly forward, with the result _ that quite a number of them were injured. Those who suffered from the accident were taken into the houses in the vicinity. There has not yet been, time to ascertain the nature of the injuries they have received, but one woman thought that her leg was broken, another was badly cut on the head, and several received cuts and bruises.
