GUESSING SONG.
Oh oh! oli oli! Pray who can I he? I sweep o’er tho land, I scour o cr
the sea; I cuff the tall trees till they bow down their heads, And I rock the woo birdies asleep in their beds. I rumble the breast of tlie greyheaded daw, I tip the roo'k’s tail and make lnm cry “caw” ; But though I love fun, I’m so big and so strong, At a. puff of my breath, tiio great sail along. I swing all tlie weather-cocks this way and that, I play liarc-and-liouuds with a runaway hat; But however I wander I never can For go where 1 will I’ve a free right of way l 1 skim o'er the heather, dance up tlie street, ~„ , , I’ve foes that I laugh at .and friends that I greet; I’m known in the country, I m named in the town, For all the world over extends my renown. Oli oh! oh oh! And who can I be, That sweeps o’er the laud and scours o’er the sea? —Henry Johnstone.
