Tlio “Post’-' states' that the paK-a-poo band in Ha-illing Street was defrauded of £250 by a man who concealed himself in the rafters while the drawing was going on. fo save time, and to prevent the police interfering, the drawing is conducted wlnlo the tickets arc lining collected from the agents. A confederate took the marked ticket to an agent, whose tickets had not then been collected. The amount won was over £250, out this was all the bank could raise, and it was accepted at once.
