Members arriving at the House of Cqmmons were much astonished to see, flying steadily over the Parliamentary Buildings, ,a banner inscribed with the words “Vote for ‘Women.” It was subsequently discovered that this gentle reminder to legislators was suspended in the air by means of a war kite handled from the roof of a warehouse in Lambeth.
