Airs Andrew Graham, President of the Gisborne branch of the Women's Christian Temperance"’ Union leaves this morning for Auckland to attend the annual convention of that body which commences on Wednesday next. Mr. Clias. Chapman, lately stock agent for Alessrs Dalgety and Co., leaves this morning for Auckland, en route to Whangarei, where lie has acquired a station. Air. fan Siinson, Crown Lands Ranger, has returned from a fortnight’s visit to the East Coast districts. A Press Association telegram from Wellington states that the Government has approved of the reappointment of Alessrs. Beauchamp and Alilne to the directorate of the Bank Of New Zeal> i-nd.
