NEWCASTLE MINERS.

COURT PROCEEDINGS. STATEMENT BY THE PRESIDENT. United Press Association— Copyright ("Received March 5, 11.10 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 5. In the Newcastle .Mining Court the President made his promised statement. Reviewing the position, lie reiterated that the miners had taken an absolutely unjustifiable position over the camera evidence. If the Miners’ Federation withdrew, causing a break-up of the Court, he would say that the miners had broken their agreement without any justification whatever, merely because they had failed to dictate to the Court. The only thing for them to do was to withdraw from their attitude, and leave the procedure of the Court in the hands of the Court. THo counsel for the miners declared lie could not. at that stage, say what the miners would do. He must take instructions from the Federation, and asked for an adjournment to further consider the position. The Court adjourned until Monday.
