Co.’s Tuatea returned last night Prom Pakarae with 100 bales ot wool, which were transferred to the Nerehana The U.S.S. Co.’s Haupiri arrived yesterday morning from Coast ports with 1000 bales of wool, which were transhipped to the Nerehana. The Haupiri sails at 7 o’clock this morning for Auckland via Coast bays. The U.S.S.Co.’s Squall leaves Auckland on Saturday for Tolaga Bay and Gisborne. On Tuesday evening the AA'estport Coal Company’s steamer Regains left AA'estport with a full load “of coal for Gisborne. She is due here to-night, and will be brought into the river on Friday morning. The scow Kia Ora arrived last evening from AA'hangaroa, which port was left on Sunday last. 'l’lie voyage was a good one. The wind blowing from north to north-west. The vessel has 77,000 feet of timber for Alessrs 14. J. Poacocke and Co. The topsail schooner Joseph Sims is expected to complete discharge tomorrow. and to leave for Wanganui on Saturday. The barque Hazel Craig was brought into the river yesterday evening. She brought about 689 tons of coal from Newcastle, of which 170 tons were ighterod in the bay to enable the vessel to come over the liar on a draught ol lift Gin. She took 22 days to make the trip from Newcastle, (pissing Cape Alaria A'an Dieman on February 19th. Throughout, the voyage the wind was from the east, with the exception of about 12 hours.
