Horses entering for district races to have been in the district, and the bona fide property of residents, at least- three months previous to races. 2. Jockeys riding in races to wear colours. 3. Protests to be lodged with the Secretary in waiting, within 15 minutes after the disputed event, accompanied with a deposit of £2, such deposit to be forfeited if the protest be not sustained. 4. No nomination or acceptance will be entertained unless accompanied by necessary fees. 5. NOMINATIONS for 1,3, 5, and 6 Close on 22nd FEBRUARY, at Tuparoa Hotel at 8 p.m., and ACCEPTANCES for Same and NOMINATIONS for 2 and 4 close on the WEDNESDAY before the races, viz., 18th MARCH, at Tuparoa Hotel, at 8 p.m. 6. All races to be run under Metropolitan rules. 7. Committee’s decision to be final, 8. Winner of any race after the weights have been declared to carry a penalty of 71bs. Bookmakers’ fees, £5 ss. J.
