Tho return intor-eluh croquet match was played on Saturday afternoon, when the Wlnvliuipoko club defeated the Gisborne Lawn Tennis Club by throe games to one. Two games were very evenly contested, and one was not (ini lied until 7 p.m., thus milking pinv difficult. The following are the molts: — Mrs. Carmichael and II Kane (Gisborne) heat J. C. Kisslmg and Mrs. A. S. Seymour (Whataupoko), Dr .Wi liams and Miss Kells (Wbataupnk.) beat Mi’s. A. YV. Mu may and T. Alston Coleman (Gisborne), Mrs. A. AY'. Rees and AV. F. J. Anderson (Whataupoko) beat Aliss L. Colema;i and AV. L. Coleman (Gisborne), Airs AV. R, Marker and A. (!. Jeffreys (AA'hataupoko) beat Miss Mil ray and A. AV. S. Murray (Gisborne).
