ASSASSINS IN PERSIA.
ATTEMPT ON THE SHAH’S LIFE. BOMBS THROWN FROM A HOUSE TWELVE MEN KILLED. THE SHAM ESCAPES UNHURT. United Press Association—Copyright TEHERAN, Feb. 29. Two bombs were thrown at the Shall at- Teheran, killing three and wounding twenty. The Shall was unhurt. (Received March 1, 5 p.m.) Details of tho attempt on the Shah show that bombs were thrown from the roof of a house in a narrow street. One exploded in the air, and the other struck the ground, killing the outriders near the Shah’s unoccupied motor car. Tho tribal cavalry escorting the Shall fled, and the Shall, who occupied a carriage in tho rear, returned to hia palace. Twelve men were 'killed, but a search of the houses in the vicinity of tho outrage was fruitless. The news of the occurence caused the greatest surprise in London, as the situation in Teheran has recently been quiet.
