The arrest of several Sunni Mohammedans for rioting in Bombay against- the Shiah section led to the __ stoning of the police, and two of the U latter were badly injured. * " The Police Commissioner and other European officers then fired on the rioters, killing five and wounding forty. Twenty are seriously wounded. The troops are camping in the streets, but everything is now quiet.
