There was -a vor- large attendance of buyers from up -ind down the coast, and a 'feature of tilie sale, was the demand for Line-oili studs, the sale for these sheet) being the best for many years. The highest prices for Lincoln studs were: AA'. Rayner's at 00 guineas and- W. AYybourne’s at 60 guineas. Ihe highest averages were : —McGregor Bros., £34 ss; AA’ybourne, £2B 3s Gd; B. Raynor,.. £2O 10s; Win. Perry, £26 ss.' Flock Lincolns, though not u-p to the standard of last year, sold wt satisfactory figures, the highest being 21 guineas.
