AIR, J. C. AVILLIAAISON’S NEAV MUSICAL CO-AIEDY COMPANY.
His Alajesty’s Theatre will be occupied for a season of three nights by Air. J. C. AVilliaiuso-n’s Now Alusical Comedy Company, commencin'" on Monday next, ’ with “The Blue Aloon,” one of the latest London successes, the second production being the Lyric Theatre " triumph, “Lady Madcap,” and the farewell appearance in “The Girl From Khvs.” The performers with a few exceptions -are ftl] new. Aliss Amy Murphy, the principal soprano, belongs to New Zealand, and is highly spoken or for her charm of voice and quality of her acting. Her sister, Dulcie Alurphy, is also among the company. Air. Kenneth, who- takes one of the leading roles ,is a singer of experience, having graduated in “San Toy,” -Air. Victor Gouriet, Air. Aiyles Cl if tou, and Air. Eddie Na-blo, all comedians of note, will supply -the drollery of the piece. Among the ladies, Aliss Daisy Wallace and 'Aliss Jessica Deane, hqt-h of whom come with oood credentials, may be assured of welcome. “Tho Blue Aloon” is a merry play, with the roniintic And humorous elements blended judiciously togotlier,_ to tho 'accompaniment of much taking melody. “Lady Madcap,” the second production hy the company, is a Lyric Theatre (London) success;, and throughout the colonies is proving a most popular play with theatregoers. “The Girl From Kays will bo the company’s final production.

A number.oi very fine pictures were run off. They were of an exceptionally high order of merit, and there was an entire absence of flicker. The pictures are a very good collection. Among those which call for special praise might be mentioned “The Cliff Climbers,” a striking film depicting the work of the bird-nesters among tho • precipitous cliffs about Flamborough Head, on the English coast. Another fine .series is that which shows the famous Channel swimmer, Annette Kellerman, in some striking diving and swimming performances. Tho pathetic class of picture was also shown : in the “Poor Man’s Medicine.” “An Opium Smoker’s Dream” is also a realistic picture. Mr. Perry is a brother of Mr. Perry, of tho Salvation Army Biorama Company. The company commence their season at the Theatre this evening.
