Abdul Aziz, interviewed at Madin, states that when the Kaiser offered to protect Morocco against French severity he accepted, but finding the Kaiser would do nothing,, though t*he French advance continued, he lost all confidence again, and went over to France, which ought to provide means to enable him to regain Fez.
