AX INNOCENT MAN KILLED
United Press Association—Convrieht LISBON, Feb 5 Senhor Amaral, Portuguese Premier, interviewed, said that the Portuguese wero devotedly attached to monarchy, and even if a revolution bad been possible Saturday’s crimo would prevent its realisation. Senlior Sebastian Telles has replaced Senhor Nunes as Portuguese Aliuister for War.

The Spectator states that Senhor Franco has definitely retired from polities. Sir H. Campbell-Bannerman moved an address expressing horror and indignation at the mad and revolting crime in Portugal, and expressing sympathy with the suffering family and people. He eulogised tho manly, friendly, kindly king, and his son, full of vouthful hope and promise. He referred to the calm courage of the noble woman. Mr. Akers Douglas seconded the motion, which was carried without debate.
