MIL lIALL-JONES ENTERTAINED. Press Association. WELLINGTON, Feb. 3. Tho Hon. W. Hall-Joues was welcomed back to New Zealand at a gathering of the Liberal and Political Federation, held in the concert chamber of the Town Hall to-night. There was a large attendance, including the Premier ami Lady Ward, Ministers, members of Parliament, and prominent citizens. Speeches were made in appreciation of the guest’s restoration. to health, and of his return to Ministerial office. A resolution was carried expressing pleasure at seeing Mr. Hall-Jones once more in the Domision, and trusting that for many years to come lie may be spared to continue to work for the people of this country.
