DROWNING AT DUNEDIN.

THE INQUEST. Press Association. DUNEDIN, Feb. 3. At the inquest on the body of George Farquharson, the victim of tho fatality at the wharf early on Sunday morning, medical evidence was to the effect that death, was probably due to shock caused by a sudden immersion. The jury returned a verdict in accordance with the medical testimony, aud added -a rider that steps should be taken to prevent access to the wharf at night, except through gates, under the control of the night watchman.
