IN BANKRUPTCY.
E. i! ICJ LA LIDS’ TENDERS. The second meeting of creditors of Enoch Richards’ estate was hold yesterday afternoon at the office of Mr. John Coleman, Deputy Official Assignee. Mr. E. -Gerard, the Official Assignee, was present, •and there were also present a number of creditors. Mr. Coleman said that tenders had been received, but were not considered satisfactory, and it was advisable to extend the time for fresh tenders. Mr. Gerard said that if the tenders were again unsatisfactory a sale would probably be held. The bankrupt explained tliat be gave Hawkins £-100 'because be considered bo was entitled to it. lie also explained the arrangement with tho late Mr. Dickson; they wero to be equal partners, each to find an equal amount of money. Mr. Dickson bad never drawn a pound out of it. Tho profits out of the Tolaga badness amounted to about £7OO, and Mr. Dickson’s share would have been about £3OO.
A discussion took place as to the partnership, there boing no written agreement. The bankrupt said that his solicitor would havo to decide the question. After some further discussion the meeting terminated.
