Mr. J. McKee, who has. been iil for some days, is now at Mrs. llarnev’s private hospital. Mr. A. G. Laiivenson, manager for Messrs. J. R. Redstone and Sons, •has been confined to his bed for some weeks. Mr. Edgir. representing Messrs. J. B. M-ac Ewan. and Co,, who has been on an extended visit to Gisborne, returns to Auckland tins mor--11 Mr. W. J- Hawley. Collector of Customs, arrives back this morning by the Manuka, after a holiday trip extending over three weeks. He went to Auckland, and journeyed homeward via tlio Main Trunk railway. Mr. Mclntosh, who has been relieving Mr. Hawley, leaves for Auckland bv the Manuka.
