ARRIVES IN AUCKLAND

Press Association. A I CELAND, Jan. 31. Sir Joseph Ward arrived in Auckland this morning. Ho will bo pre--ent at a social to Mr. Alfred Kidd, city member, this evening. The Premier returns to Wellington on Sunday. In an interview with a Star reporter, ho stated that the new postoffice had been definitely fixed for the railway station site. The Premier will tour a great part of the provincial district a little later this mouth. Later Sir Joseph Ward attended a social given to Mr. Alfred Kidd, M.H.R., by the latter’s electoral committee, this evening. The Premier delivered a short address, hut ho refrained from touching on any political questions, stating that he intended to deliver a policy speech in at an early date. The Premier returns to Wellington on Sunday.
