CANNING EXPERT TO VISIT GISBORNE. Special to Times. WELLINGTON, Jan. 31. The Government Canning Expert, ilr. W Jaques, who has just returned to Wellington from South, where he has been giving the farmers lectures on fruit preserving for domestic requirements, leaves for Motueka on Monday, and will afterwards visit Central Otago, Gisborne, and Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and the Far North as far as Hokianga.
