Mails for -Chatham Islands close at Lyttelton at. 8 p.m. on the Ist prox., and thereafter at short intervals. The vessel makes about eight consecutive trips, of which it will not bo possible to givo long notice.
Money orders and registered letters close one -hour, -and parcel-post parcels 30 minutes, before the ordinary mail.
