HIGH PRICES AT CHRISTCHURCH WOOL SALES, JANUARY 8, 1908.
Messrs l’yne nnd Co, AVoolbrakors, etc. Christchurch, report a:- billows. viz.:—Heferring to a few of the best clips in our catalogue, the Culverden wool stood out very prominently. both in •balfbred nnd merino, this clip being noticeably bright, well classed, and l in splendid condition. The first lot of the balfbred was passed at J2Sd, and the wether wool being sold at the same figure, and other lots at 12d, merinos at 13 d. ami other lots at 12-d.
Messrs Wilson’s clips are famous in wool centres all over the world; their position is invariably at the top of the price list. Quibell’s Dip has been used on Culverden to the exclusion of all other brands for many years past-, and the position taken by that clip year after year is sufficiently indkucativo that" the mnnigoment of the flock is conducted on the most up-to-date lines.
