At the Turanganui Club's green the competition for the Bennett Cup and championship medal is being continued, the latest pair to meet being B. Hire! and A. Sawyer. A close game resulted up to the 14th head, when the scores stood at 13 all. From this point onward, however, Sawyer drew away, eventually winning comfortably by 26 to 15. The competition will be continued to-day.

The Aucklanders were splendidly entertained by tlio Warrengah Club at Mossman, and a six-rink match was played. The team wero entertained at dinner at the Continental Hotel, and a concert was given in the evening. The first five rinks left Auckland three down, but Mclntosh’s rink obtained a substantial lead, giving the visitors tlie victory. The following are the details: — Rankin, Perrett, Wooller, Rankin, 24; Warrington 21. Michael, Coldicutt, Ballantvne, Hancock, 19; Warrengah, 28. Miller, Neburn, Kusabs, Hudson, 19; Warrengah, 27.
