Owing to shortage of labor the Victoria on her last trip lav idle all Thursday morning at Wellington, and did not leave there until midnight that night, leaving Napier at midnight on Friday. She arrived in the Bay a little before 7 o’clock on Saturday, and left about 2.30 o’clock for Auckland. Messrs. Richardson and Co.’s Fanny arrived from Napier on Saturday morning with a uumber of rams and general produce, returning to Napier on discharge. The eeow Gannett arrived from Mercury Bay on Saturday morning, after a fair passage, lasting from Tuesday last. The cargo consists of 50,000 ft of timber for Messrs. Peacoeko olid Co., and 12,000 f- for Mr. Q. Smith.
