A STRIKE AVERTED.
United Press Association—Copyright (Received Jan. 26, 4.32 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 25. The threatened lock-out of cotton operatives at Oldham has been averted, the masters’ terms having been accepted. The Brooklands agreement lias been upheld, and a general wage-list will be mutually compiled.
