DELIBERATIONS IN WELLINGTON.

The deliberations of tho University Senate were resumed yesterday morning, when an adjournment was ordered- until 11.30, to enablo the work of committees to be carried a step further. Interim reports were received from the medical, law, and scholarship committees. Mr. G. ltogben, on behalf of the last, stated that they had come to a resolution, that they could not consider the conditions under which senior science scholarships were hold, without also considering the conditions on which all senior scholarships were held. They therfore asked that the word “science” before “senior scholarships” in tho amendment carried yesterday should bo deleted. The meeting was tlion adjourned, until JVIO2I- - at 10 a.m.
